Frequently Asked Questions
Emergency Plumbing
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Burst or leaking pipes causing flooding, sewage backups, no water supply, gas leaks near water systems, and overflowing toilets that cannot be stopped. If water is actively causing damage, it is an emergency.
What should I do while waiting for the plumber?
Turn off the water supply at the nearest shut-off valve. For condos, this is usually under the kitchen sink or in a utility cupboard. For houses, the main valve is near the water meter. Mop up standing water to prevent damage to floors and furniture.
Common Problems
Why is my drain slow or clogged?
In Bangkok, the most common causes are hair and soap buildup in bathroom drains, grease accumulation in kitchen drains, and tree root intrusion in ground-floor plumbing. We use professional drain cameras and hydro-jetting to clear even stubborn blockages.
My water heater is not working. What could be wrong?
Common issues include a tripped circuit breaker, a faulty heating element, limescale buildup, or a failing thermostat. We service all electric water heater brands. Gas water heaters require a specialist - we can refer you if needed.
Pricing
Do you charge for coming out?
For scheduled appointments during business hours, there is no callout fee - you only pay for the work done. Emergency callouts outside business hours have a minimum charge of 1,000 THB, which is credited toward any repair work.
